A desktop client ties people to a workstation. freispace runs in any modern browser, so schedulers, producers, freelancers and finance all work from the same live schedule wherever they are.
Capability sold module by module. When personnel, time and billing capability are priced as separate modules, facilities end up rationing who gets access. freispace includes unlimited users, projects and resources in every tier, so staff and freelancers each get their own permissioned login at no per-user cost.
Disconnected quoting, scheduling, and finance. Producers chase numbers across spreadsheets. freispace’s Orders workflow keeps sales, producers, and finance on the same data — quoted vs actual cost in real time.
Reporting that needs assembling by hand. freispace makes utilisation, financial transparency and project tracking available directly in the product, without exporting and re-assembling data first.
Continuous delivery. Every release is published in our public changelog, so you can see what shipped and when.

Core product plus separately priced modules
ScheduALL was sold as a core application with priced optional modules (Personnel Manager, Smart Time, Labor Manager, Billing & Receivables, Contract Manager, Media Manager). No public price list or licence-model page was ever published, so terms were quoted per customer (scheduall.com module pages, Internet Archive snapshot 2021; checked 20 August 2026).
Xytech acquired ScheduALL from Net Insight in February 2021 and, following its merger with Fabric, stated publicly in February 2026 that it had “discontinue[d] support of ScheduALL” and is giving “longtime ScheduALL customers a clear path forward” onto the Xytech platform (fabricdata.com, 2 February 2026). ScheduALL is no longer marketed as a current product line.
Home Post Production — a 22,000 sq ft, 40-strong facility in Manchester city centre, described by Prolific North as the UK’s largest post-production house outside London (1 October 2025) — migrated from its legacy scheduling system to freispace in a single month, with no dual-running and no downtime.
“The onboarding was seamless. We started the rollout on October 1, and by the end of the month we’d fully switched over. The feedback from all the team has been nothing but positive.”
“It feels like it’s designed for the human brain. freispace is intuitive, clean, and efficient. You don’t have to think about the software — it just helps you get the job done.”

Case study
Home Post Production transforms scheduling with freispace
Read the full story: how a 22,000 sq ft Manchester facility replaced a legacy scheduling system in 30 days — cutting scheduling time, eliminating licence constraints, and unifying production with finance.
Yes. freispace is fully browser-based with no desktop client to install and no per-user licence walls. Schedulers, producers, freelancers, and finance all log in from any modern browser, on any device.
How long does a migration to freispace take?
Home Post Production migrated its entire operation from a legacy scheduling system to freispace in 30 days — from October 1 to end of month — with no disruption to client delivery and no dual-running phase.
Do freelancers need their own paid licence in freispace?
No. Every freispace tier includes unlimited users, so full-time staff, freelancers and external collaborators can each be given their own permissioned access at no per-user cost. Time tracking covers 10 users on the Focus tier and is unlimited from Frame upwards.
Does freispace cover quoting, invoicing and cost tracking?
Yes. The Orders module connects quoting, scheduling, and invoicing in one workflow, with sales, producers, and finance all working from the same data. Quoted versus actual cost is visible in real time.
How stable is freispace compared with an on-premise deployment?
freispace is delivered as a managed cloud service running on EU infrastructure, so there is no server for your team to patch, back up or restart, and updates ship without a maintenance window. Home Post Production reports that, since replacing its previous scheduling system, schedule changes that used to take hours now take minutes.
How quickly does freispace evolve?
freispace ships continuously and publishes every release in a public changelog, so you can see for yourself what shipped and when. Home Post Production describes the relationship as “not just software; it’s a partnership.”
